Upload Index Rules

You can check the current value of your upload index in your Personal Account on the "Information" page.

Publication:

— An author's photo rated "I+" or "I•" adds 0.5 points to the upload index.
— An author's photo rated "I-" does not change the upload index.
— A non-author's photo adds 0.1 points to the upload index.

Rejection:

— The first photo rejected within 30 days does not affect the upload index.
— The second and third rejected photos deduct 1 point each.
— The fourth and fifth rejected photos deduct 3 points each.
— The sixth and subsequent rejected photos deduct 7 points each.

The count of rejected photos is for the last 30 days. The upload index value cannot be less than 1. If the current index value is lower than the intended deduction, the index is reduced to 1, and the log will show the actual deduction amount (example: with an index of 2.5, a sixth rejected photo will lower the index to 1, and the log will show -1.5 points).

If an author refuses to correct issues with a detained photo, 1 point is deducted.

If the upload index is 10 points or less, a daily limit on the number of photos the author can submit for publication is in effect, equal to the index value (rounded down).

Publishing a photo as conditional does not change the upload index.

For direct publication, the index change occurs after its review (post-moderation) is completed. If a photo was not reviewed by moderators, the upload index remains unchanged.

Special index values:

0 — A special value of the upload index when there are active warnings. If you have no active warnings but your index is zero, please contact the site administration for help.

1 — The minimum value of the upload index. It cannot fall below this, even if all photos are rejected, except for the situation described in the point above.

5 — The upload index value for a newly registered user.

10 — The maximum value at which the daily upload limit is applied.

50 — The index value starting from which an author gains the right to direct publication (photo post-moderation).

60 — The maximum value of the upload index. The index will not increase above this value.

Notes:

— When uploading a photo with an "I·" rating, it undergoes moderation under general rules; direct publication is not possible.

— A photo is published automatically from the queue 2 hours after upload, provided direct upload is available and the photo can be published.

— The index calculation is performed automatically without moderator involvement. Moderators do not have the ability to directly influence the upload index.
